Business Settings
Introduction
Business Settings in any Retail POS Software helps you describe the essential information about your retail business. These settings will let you view and edit your retail communication details such as your address and contact information etc.
Home > Setup > General Settings > Business Settings
Details about business or enterprise are saved and updated in business settings. It includes details like address, Federal Tax Id, phone number etc. In business settings, while defining an address the country field should already be defined.
Company Name:
This is the registered name of your business. This company name is used extensively at several places such as receipts and reports headings, business transactions documents.
Email:
The default email id of your company that has been set up. This is also used for communication in different customer interactions. This email can also be printed on the transactional receipts and business transaction documents.
Federal Tax Id:
This is the Tax Registration Id of your company given by Tax Authorities in your country. The Federal Tax Id is also printed on the receipts and reports at some places.
Address:
This is the complete postal address of your company. The address further consists of details of city and state which is selected from the predefined list. You can decide to print the Address for the company on the receipt and reports too.
City:
This specifies the City of your company.
Zip Code:
This is the Zip code where you are located.
Country:
This is the Country where your company is located. The country gets populated as part of the registration process. One can also select a country from the predefined list of countries.
State:
This is the State where your company is located. States or provinces are defined within the country master.
Phone Number:
Phone number where your company can be contacted. The Phone number can be used in a receipt as contact details of the business.
Alternate Phone Number:
Alternate phone number for your company. The Alternate phone number can be used in a receipt as contact details of the business.
