Can a modifier be used as an ingredient in Tagrain?
Yes, a Modifier can be used as an Ingredient in Tagrain Hospitality. This is generally done for better inventory management and reporting. Modifiers are products that further enhance the base product that the customer is paying for. For example, the extra cheese in the burger, or the extra shot in the coffee, are the customer preferences that allow the retailer to modify the base burger. Marking a modifier as an ingredient will make it as one of the base constituents of the Menu Item. Menu Items are the products that you see on the menu of the Cafe. These can be sold individually or can be sold as a part of a combo deal. Menu Items may or may not have a modifier attached to it.
