Changing Updating and Editing your Tagrain plan using the Tagrain App for iOS

Any change, update or edit to your Tagrain plan has to be made via the Tagrain web application.

How do I update my billing information/invoice details?

The administrator of the Tagrain account has the privilege to change, update or edit the bill plan.  
You will be billed immediately on activation; the amount and frequency depend on whether you decide to be billed monthly or annually. Tagrain bills in advance. This means that the invoice you pay each month (or year) covers the following month rather than the previous one.

What is Monthly Billing

Monthly billing is when you choose to pay for your Tagrain subscription every month. The billing cycle is a 30-day interval at which Tagrain invoices your plan's fees. You will be billed immediately on activation and then on the same day on subsequent months.

What is Annual Billing

Annual billing is when you pay for 12 months of your monthly Tagrain subscription up-front. This reduces your credit card processing fees, especially for international customers, and gives you a discount on your Tagrain subscription. The monthly cost of Tagrain subscription when billed annually is around 10 to 20% across all plans.

You will be billed immediately on activation and then again, every 12 months following activation. Paying annually will earn you a discount on the monthly rate you pay in total.

We do not offer prorated refunds in case you decide to terminate an annual (or monthly) contract before the expiration date.  See our Terms and Conditions for more details.

How can I change my plan from monthly to annual?

The administrator of the Tagrain account has the privilege to change, update or edit the bill plan. When you decide to move from a monthly plan to an annual plan, before your next billing date, you will only be charged a pro-rated amount for the remaining days/months of your billing cycle.

A different billing cycle may apply to app-based subscriptions which might not always match the billing date of your Tagrain subscription billing cycle. What happens when you change your plan from monthly to annual?

When you change your Tagrain pricing plan from monthly to annual, we reset your billing date and restart your billing from the day you make the change. Any remaining days from your previous month are shown as a credit adjustment on your invoice. The charges for the next full year are added to your invoice. Payment will be taken the day you make the change.
Your Tagrain bill total = full new annual charge - amount credited.

What happens when you change your plan from annual to monthly?

When you change your Tagrain plan from annual to monthly, part way through the year, your pricing will be prorated. Your billing date will also change to the date you initiated the billing frequency change. The charges for the next full month on your new plan are added to your invoice, and it is most likely you will not be charged as the cost of the month will be smaller than the annual credit (unless this change occurs close to the end of the Annual period).

If you make this change immediately after your account was charged for an Annual period, you will be entitled to a refund of the remaining credit balance on your account. 

If the change occurs later in your Annual period, the credit will remain on your account, but you will not be eligible to have these funds refunded even if you cancel your account.

How can I change my plan size?

You can change your pricing plan, either by upgrading or downsizing, at any point of time. Changing your plan from the Lite Edition to the Essential Edition will change your regular billing cycle date to the new annually). Click HERE to know more about switching Tagrain versions.

Will my pricing plan automatically decrease if I lower my usage?

Sometimes, a situation may occur wherein you might need to down-size your business and may want to close an outlet. When you delete an outlet/register before your next billing date, you will only be charged a pro-rated amount for the days/months used of your billing cycle.
If you remove an extra register, you will also need to downgrade the number of registers on your license to lower your billing. Once this has been done, we'll remove the additional register charge for the next renewal, but you will only be issued a prorated credit for the unused period if you are on an Annual Plan. If you pay for an extra register on a monthly plan, you will not receive a credit for any unused days.
Tagrain does not automatically lower your pricing plan if you delete an outlet, user, products or customers, you will need to downgrade your plan manually and notify us by reaching out to our Tagrain Help Center or open a ticket with our Tagrain experts.

Will my pricing plan automatically increase if I increase my usage?

If you are expanding your business, you may want to open more outlets. When adding additional registers to your license, you will be immediately charged a prorated amount based on the number of days/months until your next renewal. At your next renewal, you will be charged for the renewal of your base plan and any extra registers you have added in the previous period.
Adding an outlet to your store will incur additional charges to your Tagrain subscription.
If you are on a Lite or Essential plan, make sure to delete outlets or registers that aren't being used, and lower your license, as you will be charged for these.
