Country

Introduction

In the application country master data is used to add addresses to several other masters such as Customers, Vendors etc.
A country once defined will have further details of state data in it, which is used to demographically define the business partners and retail sites.

Details about the Countries the company can run its business in defined in this section of the application. The settings here are applicable to the entire business. The screen options are explained further.

Where to use the Country masters in the application

Once a Country is listed in the country master it can then be used in a lot of other masters in the application. While defining an address the Country field will autopopulate with the Country information already defined country master. Every entity where a user needs to define the address the country masters are used extensively.

A few examples where Country Master is used are
-- Business address
-- Customer address
-- Vendor address
-- Store address

While the country master is already defined, the states / provinces for the country need to be defined. Clicking on the edit icon in the country row will launch the State Master screen. You can enter the states / provinces in this screen.

Country masters are also used in defining addresses for stores and business addresses. When adding an address country can be picked from the list of available and defined countries.
