Introduction
Display Settings helps to define display format of various entities such as currency , quantity , date etc. These settings are applied globally. This means that these settings are applicable to all the stores and POS which are active.

Understanding Display Settings
Details about formats of date, price, currency, quantity are managed in this section of settings.
System display settings decide formats of various entities in the system including currency, time zone and date format. An important setting is the number of decimal places. The settings here are applicable to the entire business. The screen options are explained further.

Time Zone:
Set up the time zone for the business. There is a predefined list from which an appropriate time zone can be picked up. The transaction time and date will be decided for all the stores based on this time zone. Also all the promotions and times based entries will be depending upon this time zone setting. Therefore users need to be careful while setting up, or changing time zones.
Currency:
Set up the base currency of the business. There is a predefined list from which an appropriate currency can be selected.
Date Format:
The required date format can be set up using this field. A user can decide the appropriate format for the date using the drop down list.
Sample Date Format:
This field displays how the dates will look on the screens and documents. This is the representation of the date format that you selected in the previous Date Format field
Date Time Format:
The required date time format can be set up using this field. A user can decide the appropriate format for date and time using the drop down list.
