How to Access the Transaction Report?

Introduction

Transaction Report is used for reviewing and monitoring the transactions for the selected store for a given date range. It displays the POS transactions for the stores. Transactions for a selected POS, from a selected store, between the selected date range are displayed on the transaction Report.



How To Generate A Transaction Report?

To generate a Transaction Report, navigate to Home > Reports > Transaction Report, and perform the following steps:

  1. Select a Store
  2. Select a POS
  3. Select a Date range for which transaction information is to be displayed
  4. Click on Search Button
  5. Transaction Report for the selected fields is populated
Once, the report is generated, it can be then filtered by Store / POS / Customer and Date Range.



Export the Transaction Report

The Transaction Report can be exported using the "Export" button. Click on the Export button and browse to a location where you want to save the Transaction Report. Click on the Save button to save the file.

Print the Transaction Report

Transaction Report can be Printed using the "Print" button. Click on the Print button, Print Preview pops up, select the destination printer, pages, Copies, Color and configure more settings, if required. Click on the Print button to print the Transaction Report.

Report Data

Transaction ID
Transaction ID is a unique alphanumeric number assigned to the Transaction. Length of unique code is of maximum 20 alphanumeric characters.

Store
Store is the name of the store where the transaction occurred.

POS
POS is the name of the Point Of Sale where the transaction was created.

Actual Date
The date and time on which the transaction took place.

Customer
The name of the customer who purchased the goods.

Total
The total is the total amount of the individual transaction.

Is Suspended
If this is ticked, then the transaction has not been processed but is suspended.

Balance
If the transaction has been paid “On Account” the outstanding amount is shown in this column.

Has Sales
When ticked the transaction includes sale items, if unticked it may include refunds or account payments.

Transaction Details
Each transaction can be expanded by clicking on the arrow this will show 2 tabs Line Item(s) and Payment(s) so the full details of the transaction can be viewed.
