How to collect payments using Moneris on Tagrain? (FAQ)
Tagrain allows you to collect credit and debit card payments via Moneris by adding Moneris as a Payment Type.
Available only for the USA and Canada, Moneris Payment Processor Integration plugin allows you to accept normal and contactless NFC credit and debit card payments from all major brands using the Moneris Payment Device.
When you activate the Moneris Payment Processor plugin, a default Payment Type - Moneris is automatically created in the Payment Type drop-down. (As shown in the screenshot below)
You then need to configure the Moneris Payment Type and then map the Moneris payment type that you just configured to your POS terminal to be able to accept debit and credit card payments using the Moneris Payment Device.
Scan a few products to the transaction grid and click the Pay button to reach the Payment screen. On the Payment screen, select Moneris as the payment method.
Click the Moneris button, to receive the credit/debit card payment via the Moneris payment processor.
Ask your customer to insert, tap, or swipe the EVM card on the Moneris Payment Device and authorise the payment by entering the security PIN.
