Import and Export Stock Transfer in Tagrain

Introduction

Managing Inventory Transactions in Tagrain is quick and simple. Tagrain allows you to upload Stock Transfer data using Excel based import templates.

Steps to Import Stock Transfer Data

The steps to import Stock Transfer Data using the excel template are listed below:
  1. Open the Tagrain Web application. Navigate to: Home > Inventory Transactions > Stock Transfer. 
  2. Select the From Store by clicking on the […] button.
  3. Select the To Store by clicking on the […] button. 
  4. Specify the Stock Transfer Code. The application will auto-populate the field with the Stock Transfer Number pre-defined in the application. This custom code is based on the Document Number Series defined under: Setup > Store Management > Stores.  There is, however an option to specify the Stock Transfer Number of your choice. 
  5. Pick a Stock Transfer date by clicking on the Calendar icon.
  6. Click on the “Download Template” button to download the Stock Transfer template.
  7. Save the Stock Transfer Detail.xls file.




The table below shows the Stock Transfer Detail.xls file headers that are available to manage the Stock Transfer data.

Product
This field is used to specify the Code of the Product being transferred.

Quantity
This field is used to specify the Product Quantity to be transferred.

Comments
This field is used to specify the Comments, if any related to Stock Transfer.

Once the template is properly filled, click the import button on the Stock Transfer Master Screen. Navigate to the location where your Stock Transfer Detail.xls file is saved. Select the file and click OK.
