These minimum requirements have been laid because older iPads running an older version of iOS may be sluggish and may miss out on some of the essential features required for the Tagrain App for iOS.
Before starting
Before you begin setting up and using your Tagrain App for iOS, you will need to set up your Tagrain store. This includes your account configuration and adding your product portfolio.

Set up your Printer Hardware
Tagrain App for iOS supports a variety of printers. Below is the list including and not limited to these printers:
TM-T90 - Epson
In order to set up your receipt printer with your iPad, you'll first need to ensure that you have all the peripherals needed.
Cables:
You will need a power cable for the printer and an ethernet cable to plug the printer in to your internet router. If you don't already have an ethernet cable ask your printer supplier to include one when you buy the printer or pick one up from your local electronics store.
Receipt Rolls:
Make sure you've got some 80mm receipt rolls ready to go. To load your receipt, roll open the latch on the top right of the printer, place the roll inside and pull some of the paper through before closing the lid.
Cash Drawer (Optional):
You may also wish to set up your cash drawer at the same time, to do this you'll need a specialized cash drawer cable. This is similar looking to an ethernet cable but is smaller on one end.

Receipt Template
A receipt template is the typical end-of-sale receipt. This will be the default receipt template assigned to the register currently in use on Register.
To create and manage receipt templates, you must use the web application on Mac or PC.
Refer to our Setting up your Receipt Templates guide to learn how.
Set up a Cash Drawer
Tagrain App for iOS allows you to set up a cash drawer, if you're using the Tagrain App for iOS with a non-handheld printer. It supports any cash drawer that can connect to your receipt printer using an RJ12 cable. The cash drawer connects to your receipt printer and is triggered to open when you complete a cash sale, and the receipt is printed by the printer.
An administrator or a manager has the privileges to manually open a cash drawer.
