Introduction

Businesses grow and retail businesses grow faster. To keep pace with the ever growing fast business, retailers require a system that grows with them. In retail, growth of business means additional stores and registers. A store needs to be set up in order to sell through the POS. 
You don’t pay for creating additional stores. However, adding stores will impact the pricing of the plugins that you have activated.
The section below explains in detail the process of adding stores and registers in Tagrain.
Home > Setup > Store Management > Stores
This section has all the settings required for managing store operations including definition of Stores, Registers, Receipt Formats, and setting up sales targets for the company.


Click on Stores to open the list view of the stores already defined


Click on Add Store to open the Add New Store screen and fill in the details. Tax Code is automatically picked up and is based on the country where your store is located.


In the context of BIR Accreditation (Philippines), you are required to toggle the switch Enable BIR to ON. Switching this ON, on the Global Settings page incorporates some BIR specific settings in the application. These settings reflect at several places in the application including the Store Settings Page. For more information you may refer to the article on BIR - Store Settings.


Expand the Document Number Series accordion to define the numbering series for all the back-office transactions that will be done at this store. This is a one-time effort and is required for better management and traceability of back-office transactions.
If you have activated the Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining plugin, you will be able to define the tables in your store.
The Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining plugin is by default included in both the editions - Community and Enterprise. This means that you will NOT be required to purchase and subscribe to this plugin. You just have to activate the plugin from the Purchase Subscription screen to unlock the hospitality features.
Click on Save to complete the process of defining a store in Tagrain.

Click on the Go Back to Settings button to return to the Store Management Setup Screen from where you can continue to define POS registers and other store related settings.
