Troubleshoot the Tagrain App for Android

Objective

To troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Tagrain App for Android.   


Setup

Tagrain App for Android on an Android Tablet


Steps

  • Update the Tagrain Android App using the Google Play store

  • Search for the Tagrain App for Android in the App store

  • If the Tagrain App for Android suggests an Update, then tap the update button to update the App

 

Update the Android version on your Tablet

  • Open settings on your Tablet’s home screen

  • Tap System

  • Tap Advanced

  • Tap System updates. If there is an update available, tap Download to download and install the update 



The steps mentioned above are applicable to devices running the stock version of Android. For example, Pixel, Motorola, Nokia. For other devices you may need to visit the respective manufacturer’s website or your phone guide.




Clear the Tablet browser Cache

  • Open Google Chrome on your Tablet

  • Tap the 3 dots in the top right corner

  • Tap settings

  • Tap privacy and security

  • Tap clear browsing data

 

Delete the Tagrain App for Android

  • Tap and hold the Tagrain App for Android

  • Tap the 'x' that appears on the top right corner of the App to remove the App from the Tablet.

  • Alternatively, open settings on your Tablet’s home screen

  • Tap App and notifications

  • Tap the Tagrain App for Android and select uninstall


 

Reinstall the Tagrain App for Android

  • Open the Google Play store and search for the Tagrain App for Android

  • Tap to download the Tagrain App for Android



Additional Information

Deleting and reinstalling the Tagrain App for Android will disconnect Tagrain from any hardware/payment processors that you might have set up to use with the App.  



Before deleting the Tagrain App for Android, make sure you have a valid Google Play Store account, to download and install the App again.
