What is the Document Numbering Series?

Document Numbering Series is a number sequence that is used to assign numbers for each document type, such as purchase order, Goods Issue, Goods Receipt, invoice, etc. This numbering series keeps the documents well organized and helps in identifying a document through its number. Navigate to Home >> Setup >> Store Management >> Stores. Then click on the Edit symbol to pen the Store accordion. Click to expand the Document Number Series section to view the list of pre-defined Document Number Series.
