You tap on the Open Register button on your Tagrain App for iOS to open your register each day. You might have noticed a spinning wheel with the message “Please wait …” before you are taken to the web register. The Tagrain App for iOS in the backend is counting your inventory by going through your product item list and then synchronizing the changes that may have occurred in your inventory like deletion of items, addition of items, or price changes, and updating your device accordingly.
You tap on the Close Register button on your Tagrain App for iOS, to close your register each day. This will mark the register as closed and display the Register Closure Report. Before this report is displayed, the Tagrain App for iOS in the backend counts your inventory by going through your product item list and then synchronizing the changes that may have occurred in your inventory like deletion of items, addition of items, or price changes, and updating your device accordingly.

In a store of large capacity, it could take a few extra minutes to reconcile the inventory. This could cause an issue if the internet connection is weak or is disrupted.
Sometimes your internet connection signal may be weak and Tagrain though appearing online is working in an offline mode. The signal is not strong enough to push the sales to the Tagrain cloud. That would mean that the synchronization is not happening.
Tagrain App for iOS makes use of the date and time settings configured on your tablet to capture the time stamp as to when the actual sale was made. This means that if the date and time on your device is incorrect, it will affect when your sales are timed.
