Plugins are small, but effective software modules that seamlessly integrate with your Tagrain Edition and contain features that extend the functionality offered by your base Tagrain Edition. You can activate a plugin from the Purchase Subscription screen. You can approach this screen from the Plugins screen or the Manage Account section. Please refer to the article on Subscription Management which explains in detail the journey and the process to activate the plugins.
The Appointment Booking plugin when subscribed to and activated allows you to to extend your retail portfolio by letting you to book appointments for services on behalf of your customers. You can book appointments for shopping, technical assistance on products and services purchased, or personal sessions with the professionals at your store.
Info - Appointment Booking is a mechanism where your customer can reserve a specific time slot usually online or over the phone to avail professional services.
The steps to book / schedule an appointment are explained below:
Step 1. Navigate to Home > Setup > Store Management > Appointment Schedule. This will open the Appointment Booking Schedule screen.
Note: The Appointment Booking Schedule screen will display the Appointment Booking URL and the Appointment Schedule.
Step 2. Click the Add Schedule button to open the Create Schedule screen.
Fill in the various fields on the Create Schedule Screen with appropriate values to create a schedule.
These fields are explained below:
Schedule Name
Specify the name for the schedule. A schedule in Tagrain is a plan that you are creating to arrange and deliver a professional service. This field is mandatory.
Store
Select the Store the schedule is applicable to specially if it is a multi-store setup. This field is mandatory.
Appointment Days Allowed
Specify the number of days allowed for appointment
Month
Select the Month from the drop-down
Service
Select an existing service offered by the store. Select the option - Create New Service if you want to create one. This field is mandatory.
Select Template
Select an existing service template from the drop down. Select the option - Create New Template if you want to create one. This field is mandatory.
Step 3. Click the Add Service button to save the changes. You can open the Appointment Booking Url to view the services defined.
