Introduction

Tagrain hospitality, though available as a plugin, is more of an industry vertical. This vertical is targeted towards small cafes and restaurants who are selling food items like Burgers, Wraps, Sandwiches, Muffins, Pastries and beverages like coffee, tea and bottled drinks. 

If for some reason, you no longer require the plugin, Tagrain makes it simple by allowing you to deactivate the Plugin. But before you proceed to deactivate the plugin, you need to first make sure that the Scan and Order Plugin has been deactivated. If you still attempt to deactivate the Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining Plugin, you would see the below pop up.

Even though you deactivate, the Plugin will remain “active” till the end of your current subscription cycle. During this subscription cycle you can always reactivate the Plugin.

Note: The plugin Hospitality and Fine Dining is included in both - Community and Enterprise editions. This means that you will NOT be required to purchase and subscribe to this plugin. You can deactivate the plugin from the Plugins page or from the Already Active tab in the purchase subscription page. 

Steps to deactivate the Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining Plugin

You can deactivate this plugin either from the plugins screen by clicking the Deactivate button OR can select the plugin for deactivation from the ‘Already Active’ tab in the Purchase Subscription screen.

You can start the process from two places. 

1. From the plugins page select the plugin for deactivation. Since Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining is already included in your edition, clicking the deactivate button will deactivate the plugin and you will not be required to go through the subscription management page / process

2. If you are deactivating a few more plugins in addition to Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining select the additional plugins for activation or deactivation. Clicking on Review & Checkout on the top right of your screen takes you to the Purchase Subscription page where all the plugins will be preselected for activation. You can select additional plugins for selection or remove the selections.

3. Navigate to the admin section on the top right corner of the screen and click on Manage Account. In the screen that opens, click Upgrade button to reach the Purchase Subscription page

Deactivation of the Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining Plugin

In this section, we will look at how to deactivate the “Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining” Plugin in Tagrain. There are two ways to deactivate a Plugin in Tagrain.  You can activate a Plugin either from the Plugins Section OR from the Manage Account Section. 

Deactivating the Plugin from the Plugins Section

Step 1. Navigate to Home > Plugins. This will open the Plugins Grid View Screen. This screen is divided into five sections - ALL | ACTIVE | INACTIVE | RECOMMENDED | INTEGRATIONS

• All

This section of the Plugin Grid View screen displays all the Plugins, irrespective of the fact whether they are active or not.

• Active

This section of the Plugin Grid View screen displays the Plugins that the user has already subscribed to and are active.

• In-Active

This section of the Plugin Grid View screen displays the Plugins that the user is yet to subscribe to and are not active.

• Recommended

This section of the Plugin Grid View screen displays the Plugins that when subscribed may prove useful to the user in upscaling his business.

• Integrations

This section of the Plugin Grid View screen displays all the third-party Plugins that can be seamlessly integrated with Tagrain.

Step 2. Navigate to the “Active” section. This section will display all the plugins that are currently active. You should see the “Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining” Plugin.

Step 3. Click on the “Deactivate” button on the “Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining” plugin Tile. Since this plugin is included in your edition, clicking the deactivate button will deactivate the plugin and you will not be required to go through the subscription management page / process

Deactivating the Plugin from the Manage Account Section

Navigate to the admin section on the top right corner of the screen and click on Manage Account. In the screen that opens, click Upgrade button to reach the Purchase Subscription page

There are 4 sections on this page. Click here to know more about the details in each of the 4 sections on this page. 

1. Choose your subscription tab

• This tab lists the plugins that are available for you to activate and include in your subscription. The plugins that you select for activation are added to the Order Summary tab.

2. Already Active tab

• Since Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining plugin is included in your subscription, you will just have to mark the plugin for deactivation by clicking the check box

• This tab also lists all the other plugins that are already active in your subscription. You have the option to select these plugins for deactivation. 

3. Order Summary tab

• This section lists all the plugins that have been selected for activation or deactivation. 

• Number of stores considered for the New Subscription pricing is mentioned below every plugin that has been selected for activation

4. Cart Details

• The selected plugin will get added to the New Subscription section of the cart details. 

• Deactivating Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining plugin will NOT affect your subscription amount.

Once you have reviewed your order summary in the Order Summary tab, click on Confirm & Pay button in the Cart Detail section. 

There will be no change in your subscription amount if you are only deactivating Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining plugin AND not updating your store / POS count. 

If you have activated or deactivated additional plugins OR have updated your store / POS count, the amount payable NOW  is calculated based on the number of days from the plugin activation date(today) to the next billing date of your Tagrain subscription. This means that if you activate a plugin (other than Hospitality for Quick Serve and Fine Dining) somewhere in between your billing cycle, the application will prorate the “amount payable now” from today to the start of the next billing cycle.
