How long does it take to set up Tagrain?

Tagrain is a cloud based application available in 2 editions – COMMUNITY and ENTERPRISE. Getting started with Tagrain is a process as easy as ABC. On your computer, open your favourite web browser and navigate to the Tagrain website. On the Website click the START A FREE TRIAL button. This will take you to a signup page where you can sign up for a 14 Days Free Trial account. You are required to specify some basic information about you and your business. There is a specific section on the Sign Up page that allows you to specify your Country and select the Trading Currency. You must not skip that, as that information will be used to load the tax and time zone settings in the application.


Specify your business information like tax, time zone, currency, and other business details. Add store details like product, customer, suppliers, and users. To save time, you may use the import functionality of Tagrain to import the product, customer, supplier, and user data. This will help expedite the setup process. Once the store setup is complete you can start selling products on POS.


When you sign up for a 14 Days Free Trial account, you get to explore all the features of the Enterprise edition.


Once you have enjoyed and evaluated the 14 days trial version of Tagrain, you have the option to switch to either Community or Enterprise edition. The two editions differ in the features and functionalities they have to offer. 

Community Edition

This edition being lighter is best suited for forward looking small retailers having a  single store single POS setup. It is FREE for life and comes with some limitations. It is limited by allowing you to only execute 1000 POS transactions per month and it also does not come with any of the plugins. 

Enterprise Edition

This edition is best suited for mid to large retailers who need more features and / or multi store functionalities. It allows you to subscribe to feature enhancing plugins and comes in two payment options – Monthly Payment Plan OR on an Annual Payment Plan. 

Monthly Plan

The billing cycle is a 30 day cycle at which Tagrain invoices your plan's fees. You will be billed immediately on activation and then on the same day the following months.

Annual Plan

The billing cycle is a 365 day cycle at which Tagrain invoices your plan's fees. You will be billed immediately on activation and then again, every year (365 days) following activation.
