Introduction

Tagrain Xero Integration Plugin is a software module that seamlessly integrates Tagrain with Xero and allows retailers to further extend the capabilities of their TAGRAIN edition.  

The plugin can be deactivated anytime during your subscription. Tagrain makes it simple by allowing you to deactivate the Plugin. 

Prerequisites

The “Tagrain Xero Integration” plugin is purchased and activated.

Steps to deactivate the Tagrain Xero Integration Plugin

In this section, we will look at how to deactivate the “Tagrain Xero Integration” Plugin in Tagrain.

Step 1. Login to the Tagrain Web application. Navigate to Home > Plugins. The Plugins Grid View screen is displayed. Go to the “Active” section. This section will display all the Plugins that you may have activated over the period. You should see the “Tagrain Xero Integration” Plugin on this page if it has been activated earlier.

Step 2. Click on the “Deactivate” button on the Tagrain Xero Integration Plugin Tile. You will have two choices:

• OK And Continue Selecting

Click this button if you wish to remove more plugins from your existing Tagrain edition. 

• Review And Checkout

Click this button if you wish to remove just this single plugin from your Tagrain edition. 

Step 3. Click the “Review and Checkout” button to review your selection. This will bring up the “Purchase Subscription” screen. You can expand the “Plugins to be deactivated” section to read a summary of the Plugin you are going to deactivate along with its annual cost. See: Tagrain Pricing

The “Purchase Subscription” screen will display the below options: 

• Subtotal for Stores and POS without Plugins

This section will reflect the Subscription amount including the number of Stores and POS available and excluding the Plugin(s) activated. The Total Subscription (With No Plugin Activated) is $948

• Due Amount from Next Subscription Cycle including Plugins

This section will reflect the Subscription amount with the Plugin activated. We activated the “Tagrain Xero Integration” Plugin, the cost of which was USD 9/month, billed annually, ($9x12=$108). Now, with this Plugin dropped the total bill is $1056 - $108 = $948. See: Subscription Management in Tagrain

Step 4. Once you have made your Plugin selection, you need to click the “Review Subscription” button. This will bring up the “Review Subscription” screen. This screen will display information about your:

• Subscription Plan

This will display the edition type - Lite or Essential

• Subscription Frequency

This will display the bill generation period – Monthly or Annual

• Subscription Period

This will display the start date and the end date for the subscription.

• Additional Purchases

This will display additional purchases (additional STORE or additional POS), if any. 

• New Subscription Details

This will display the total number of stores purchased, total number of POS available, and the total number of Plugins subscribed.

Once you have reviewed your subscription, you may click the “Subscribe” button. The application is smart enough to prorate the subscription amount and take you to the payment page. However, when deactivating a Plugin, it will skip the “Payment Screen”, as you don’t have to pay anything and will take you directly to the “Payment Result” screen.

Note: The Plugin count has reduced from “1” to “0” as we have dropped the “Tagrain Xero Integration” Plugin.

Step 5. On the “Payment Result” screen it will notify you that your payment has been completed and an invoice has been sent to your registered email address. However, you can click on the “Go to Subscription” button to validate your subscription information. 

The “Tagrain Xero Integration” plugin that was listed here on the Subscription Page upon activation, is no longer to be seen.

Step 6. Upon successful deactivation, the Plugin would appear under the “Inactive” section on the Plugins Grid View page. 

How does the Tagrain Xero Integration Plugin deactivation affect your existing Tagrain Subscription?

Deactivating the “Tagrain Xero Integration” Plugin will decrease your subscription amount for your next billing cycle. The decrease in amount will depend upon your choice of edition and the billing cycle that you may have opted for. In this article, we saw that the Total Subscription (With Tagrain Xero Integration Plugin Activated) was $1056. We deactivated the “Tagrain Xero Integration” Plugin, the cost of which was USD 9/month, billed annually, ($9x12=$108). Now, with this Plugin deactivated the total bill is $1056 - $108 = $948.
