Plugins are small, but effective software modules that seamlessly integrate with your Tagrain Edition and contain features that extend the functionality offered by your base Tagrain Edition. You can activate a plugin from the Purchase Subscription screen. You can approach this screen from the Plugins screen or the Manage Account section. Kitchen Display System Plugin Overview
The Kitchen Display System plugin when subscribed to and activated allows you to setup and use the Kitchen Display System with Tagrain and lets you view and manage table orders for your cafe and restaurant.
The Kitchen Display System plugin when subscribed to and activated allows you to setup and use the Kitchen Display System with Tagrain. This plugin when integrated with Tagrain allows you to notify the cooking staff as to what needs to be prepared. This way the cooking staff is able to glance through the entire table order along with any special requests made with the order. This reduces the chances of any error in preparing the order and thereby improves kitchen efficiency by reducing food wastage.
The orders placed on the Tagrain POS terminal are synced real time with Tagrain Kitchen Display System. For example, a kitchen may have different sections: grill, bake, pantry, etc. You can either use multiple KDS and deploy them at each section of the kitchen where the order is prepared or alternatively use a single Kitchen Display System and split into multiple sections. These are the sections where the actual food preparation takes place.
When a table order is placed on the Tagrain POS terminal, the order is synced across all the Tagrain KDS installed at each section. This allows the cooking staff to view the table order to be fulfilled and accordingly distribute the task among themselves. This not only avoids confusion and reduces the chances of any error in preparing the order but also ensures that all dishes in an order are ready on time.
This also helps you eliminate the need for kitchen printers and paper receipts as the cooking staff is able to view the entire table order on the display screen. This saves you on stationery cost in the long run.
