Multiple Units of Measure Plugin Deactivation
Introduction
Plugins are small, but effective software modules that seamlessly integrate with your Tagrain Edition and contain features that extend the functionality offered by your base Tagrain Edition. If for some reason, you no longer require a plugin, Tagrain makes it simple by allowing you to deactivate the plugin. Upon deactivation all the features and functionality added that were added to the application upon plugin activation will be removed. However, the Multiple Units of Measure plugin is an exception to this rule.
Deactivating The Multiple Units of Measure Plugin Is Not Allowed
Though most of the other Tagrain plugins can be deactivated, the Multiple Units of Measure plugin cannot be deactivated because deactivating the plugin will require the application to recalculate all the open transactions. Recalculation and revaluation can potentially lead to rounding off discrepancies because transaction values will have to be recalculated for the base units of all products. Besides this, Multiple Units of Measure is also used in back office inventory transactions like Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, Stock Transfers, etc.
The application by not letting you deactivate the plugin ensures data integrity and consistency.
At the time of activating this plugin, the application warns the user that once activated, the plugin cannot be deactivated.
The Multiple Units of Measure plugin is not available for evaluation during the 14 day trial period.
