Gift Cards are a very popular way to increase sales. Giving a gift card as a gift can bring in new customers and can also be a strong form of building brand awareness for your business.

Gift Cards never expire and therefore will always have a balance, which could also be zero. And therefore, can always be recharged at the Web Register.

Recharge a Gift Card

Gift Cards can be recharged either from the Web Register OR from the Gift Card Management screen.

On the Web Register select the type of Gift Card that needs to be recharged and mention its serial number.

Edit the price to specify the recharge amount.

You can also update the balance of a gift card – increase or decrease the balance from the Gift Card Management screen. 

Note: The option to update the balance of a gift card from the Gift Card Management screen should be used only when the Gift card balance is to be updated without charging the customer.
 

Open the Gift Card Management screen to list all the Gift Cards that have been issued.

Select the Gift Cards that needs to be recharged and click on  to open the Update Gift Card screen
 

Specify the Recharge Amount to update the Gift Card balance. You can also see the transaction history of the Gift Card by clicking the View History button.

Gift Card Balance Check

Gift Card balance can be checked either from the Web Register or from the Gift Card Management screen.

Open the Web Register and click on the Gift Card tile in the action button section.

Specify the Gift Card number in the box to see the Gift Card balance.

Open the Gift Card Management screen to see the list of Gift Cards that have been issued.

Select the Gift Cards that needs to be recharged and click on to open the Update Gift Card screen
