Sales Report
Sales report displays the amount of total tax by product, product group, customer, customer group, and cashier during the selected date range in a Store / POS.
Sales report gives detailed information about the sales inclusive tax, sale exclusive tax, and discounts.

Steps To Generate Sales Report
The Sales Target Report is made available in Tagrain upon activation of the Sales Target Management Plugin. See: Features of the Sales Target Management Plugin.

Go to Home > Reports > Sales Report. On clicking the Sales Report, the Sales report for all the stores / POS gets populated. You can choose to generate the report individually based on Product, or Product Group, or Customer, or Customer Group, or Cahier. To selectively filter the report, perform the following steps:

Select a Store

Select a POS
●
Select a date range
●
Select Sales by Product , Product Group, Customer, Customer Group, or Cashier.

Click on Search Button
●
Sales Report for the selected fields is populated.
Export the Sales Report
Sales Report can be exported using the “Export” button. Click on the Export button and browse to a location where you want to save the Sales Report. Click on the Save button to save the file.
IMPORTANT
When exporting the Sales report, the date is always exported in MM/DD/YYYY format irrespective of the date format specified in Display Settings ( Home > Setup > General Settings > Display Settings ) OR the date time format of the Operating System OR Excel.

Print the Sales Report
Sales Report can be printed using the steps below:
Step 1. Generate the Sales Report.
Step 2. Click the Print button to open the Print Preview page.
Step 3. Select the destination printer.
Step 4. Specify the number of copies and pages to be printed.
Step 5. Click on the Print button to print the Sales Report.
Report Data
Store
Store is the name of the store in the company. The name displayed is the name of the selected store for which the sales report is populated.
POS
POS is the name of the POS where the sales are recorded in the company. The name displayed is the name of the selected POS where the sale transaction is generated.
Product
This is the code of the product selected for the report.
Sales Inclusive Tax
This is the sales amount inclusive of sales tax
Sales Exclusive Tax
This is the sales amount exclusive of sales tax
Tax Amount
This is the tax amount levied on a product, in a store, or POS.
Discount
This is the total amount of discount allowed for the sales by product, product group, customer, customer group, cashier.
Purpose
Sales Report is used for monitoring the total tax by product, product group, customer, customer group, and cashier during the selected date range in a Store / POS
