To perform any sale or sale related activity a cashier frequently needs to visit the Web Register section. It is very important for him to learn and be familiar with the daily processes around selling either using the Tagrain Web application or Tagrain App for Android or Tagrain App for iPad.
With multitude of sale transactions performed everyday sometimes the cashier may be required to put a sale on hold or even void a sale. There is a subtle difference between the two. In this section we are going to talk about how a cashier void, suspend, and recall a sale using Tagrain App for iPad.
Log in to your Tagrain App for iPad. Tap on the Cancel symbol on the POS Transaction screen to Cancel a transaction. A confirmation dialog box should appear. On the confirmation dialog box tap “OK” to cancel the sale and “No” to return to the POS Transaction screen.
Log in to your Tagrain App for iPad. Tap on the Suspend symbol on the POS Transaction screen to Suspend a transaction. A confirmation dialog box should appear. On the confirmation dialog box tap “OK” to suspend the sale and “No” to return to the POS Transaction screen.
Log in to your Tagrain App for iPad. Click on the symbol to bring up the side menu. Tap on Recent Sales. This will open the Transaction Selection screen. Pull up the sale transaction that you wish to recall. To further narrow down the search, you may use filters like Transaction Id, Date Range, Include All POS and Show Suspend Only. Click on the Recall symbol displayed on the black strip under the sale total to Recall a transaction.
