Tagrain is available in 2 editions – Community and Enterprise. As the name specifies the two editions differ in the features and functionalities they have to offer.
This edition being lighter is best suited for forward looking small retailers having a single store single POS setup. It is FREE for life and comes with some limitations. It is limited by allowing you to only execute 1000 POS transactions per month and it also does not come with any of the plugins. You however, get free access to the entire help portal that includes hundreds of articles, guides and videos.
This edition is best suited for mid to large retailers who need more features and / or multi store functionalities. It not only lets you add additional Stores and POS terminals, but it also allows you to subscribe to feature enhancing plugins and comes in two payment options – Monthly Payment Plan OR on an Annual Payment Plan.
Yes, you can reactivate a deactivated Plugin in Tagrain. There are two scenarios:
Scenario 1 - Reactivate BEFORE the end of current billing cycle
Scenario 2 - Reactivate AFTER the current billing cycle
In short, a plugin can be reactivated any time BEFORE the end of your current billing cycle. You just need to click the Activate button and the Plugin will get activated.
Let us try and explain this further.
The billing cycle in Tagrain works in a way that all purchases are matched to the first anniversary date of your base Tagrain Edition.
For example, if your billing cycle for the base edition is from 1st Sep’ 21 to 1st Sep’22, all purchases will be matched (for renewal) to 1st Sep’ 22 - the anniversary date.
Let’s say you activated a plugin on 1st Oct’21 and decided to deactivate it on 1st Feb’22. This deactivated plugin will remain activated till the end of your current billing cycle, in this case, 1st Sep '22. This means that you will be able to enjoy the features of the plugin till the anniversary date. This further means that you can always Reactivate this plugin any time before Sep ‘22.
Note: There are no refunds or any adjustment of amounts when you deactivate your plugin.
Once the billing cycle during which the plugin was active is over, you will have to again subscribe to the plugin. This means that you will have to pay to activate the plugin.
