Yes, you can use Tagrain offline without an active internet connection. However, there are some limitations.
You can use Tagrain on an android tablet, without requiring an active internet connection.
Once you open the Tagrain App, it only requires the internet to sync for the first time at the start of the shift, updating your stock levels. After you're logged in to your Tagrain android app, you can use it in offline mode to perform unlimited number of sale transactions and related functions. The details of the transactions are recorded and stored on the tablet itself. At day end you can connect to the internet and the moment you connect; it will sync data back to the Tagrain cloud.
To use the web version of Tagrain, all you need to do is to type in the URL in a web-based browser. You will be required to have an active internet connection to get started. Without it, you cannot log in to the web application.
As and when the internet resumes, the transactions would sync, only if the active browser session was not closed or interrupted. However, it will not allow you to perform any back office functions.
