Plugins are small, but effective software modules that seamlessly integrate with your Tagrain Edition and contain features that extend the functionality offered by your base Tagrain Edition.
If for some reason, you no longer require a plugin, Tagrain makes it simple by allowing you to deactivate the plugin. Upon deactivation:
All the features and functionality added that were added to the application upon plugin activation will be removed.
The data pertaining to this plugin is retained till the end of your current billing cycle. At the start of the next billing cycle, this data is purged from the application, the only exception being the payment processor plugins where the plugin data is primarily associated with the reference numbers and auth numbers for the credit card transactions done.
There will be no change in your subscription amount in the current billing cycle if you are only deactivating the Label Printing Plugin AND not updating your store / POS count.
Multiple Units of Measurement Plugin is an exception to this. Though most of the other Tagrain plugins can be deactivated, the Multiple Units of Measure plugin cannot be deactivated because deactivating the plugin will require the application to recalculate all the open transactions. Recalculation and revaluation can potentially lead to rounding off discrepancies because transaction values will have to be recalculated for the base units of all products. Besides this, Multiple Units of Measure is also used in back office inventory transactions like Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, Stock Transfers, etc
The application by not letting you deactivate the plugin ensures data integrity and consistency.
At the time of activating this plugin, the application warns the user that once activated, the plugin cannot be deactivated.
It is for the same reason that this plugin is not available for evaluation during the 14 day trial period.
