Stock Counting Plugin Activation
Introduction
Stock Counting Plugin is a software module that seamlessly integrates with Tagrain POS and allows you to keep a track of your inventory. It helps you reconcile the actual physical stock in hand at the store with the stock recorded in the system.
During an inventory count, some or all item(s) in your store is counted and recorded. When the inventory count is submitted,the application compares the actual physical stocks with the stocks recorded in the system and generates a report for any unexpected variances in your inventory levels.
The Stock Counting feature is there to ensure that your store's inventory records are updated and you do not end up spending on inventory holding costs.
Steps to activate the Stock Counting Plugin
You can activate the Stock Counting Plugin from the Purchase Subscription page. You can approach this page via the Plugins Sereen or the Manage Accounts Section.
From the Plugins Screen
Step 1. Navigate to Home > Plugins. This will open the Plugins Grid View Screen. This screen is divided into five sections
Step 2. Navigate to the “In active” section. You should see the Stock Counting Plugin listed here. Click on the Activate button.
Step 3. Click on the Review & Checkout button to open the Purchase Subscription page
Step 4. Navigate to the Already Active section on the Purchase Subscription page. You should see the Stock Counting Plugin already ticked/selected.
Step 5. Review your order summary and click on the Confirm & Pay button in the Cart Detail section to proceed with activation.
From the Manage Account Section
Step 1. Navigate to the admin section in the top right corner of the screen and click Manage Account.
Step 2. On the Subscription screen that opens, click the Upgrade button to reach the Purchase Subscription page.
Step 3. Navigate to the Choose Your Subscription section on the Purchase Subscription page. You should see the “Stock Counting” Plugin un-ticked / de-selected. Put a tick against the check box on the Stock Counting Plugin Tile to mark the plugin as Active.
Step 4. Review your order summary and click on the Confirm & Pay button in the Cart Detail section to proceed with activation.
