Stock Counting Plugin Deactivation

Introduction

Stock Counting Plugin is a software module that seamlessly integrates with Tagrain POS and allows you to keep a track of your inventory. It helps you reconcile the actual physical stock in hand at the store with the stock recorded in the system. 


During an inventory count, some or all item(s) in your store is counted and recorded. When the inventory count is submitted,the application compares the actual physical stocks with the stocks recorded in the system and a report is generated for any unexpected variances in your inventory levels. The Stock Counting feature ensures that your store's inventory records are updated and you do not end up spending on inventory holding costs. 



The Stock Counting feature is available in Tagrain on activation of the Stock Counting Plugin. 



If for some reason, you no longer require the Stock Counting Plugin, Tagrain makes it simple by allowing you to deactivate the Plugin. Upon deactivation, all the features and functionality that were added to the application upon plugin activation are removed. However, the application retains all the data pertaining to the plugin till the end of your current billing cycle. At the start of the next billing cycle, this data is purged from the application.


Steps to deactivate the Stock Counting Plugin

You can deactivate the Stock Counting Plugin from the Purchase Subscription page. You can approach this page via the Plugins Section or the Manage Accounts Section.


From the Plugins Screen

Step 1. Navigate to Home > Plugins. This will open the Plugins Grid View Screen. This screen is divided into five sections.



All

Displays all the Plugins, irrespective of the fact whether they are active or not.


Active

Displays those Plugins that have an active subscription.


In-Active

Displays those Plugins that the user has not yet subscribed to.


Recommended

Displays those Plugins that when subscribed allows the user to upscale his business.


Integrations

Displays all the third-party Plugins that seamlessly integrate with Tagrain to further extend its capabilities.



Step 2. Navigate to the “Active” section on the Plugins Grid View Screen. This section will display all the plugins that are currently active. You should see the Stock Counting Plugin. Click on the Deactivate button.



Step 3. Click on the  Review & Checkout button to open the Purchase Subscription page



Step 4. Navigate to the Already Active section on the Purchase Subscription page.  You should see the Stock Counting Plugin un-ticked / de-selected. 



Step 5. Review your order summary and click on the Confirm & Pay button in the Cart Detail section to proceed with deactivation.


From the Manage Account Section

Step 1. Navigate to the admin section on the top right corner of the screen and click on Manage Account. 


Step 2. On the Subscription screen that opens, click the Upgrade button to reach the Purchase Subscription page.



Step 3. You should see the “Stock Counting” Plugin on the Purchase Subscription page, under the Already Active section. Untick the checkbox to mark the plugin as In-active.



Step 4. Review your order summary and click on the Confirm & Pay button in the Cart Detail section to proceed with deactivation.



Subscription fee for Tagrain and its plugins is non-refundable. A plugin once purchased and activated shall not be refunded. You may however choose to deactivate the plugin if you no longer want to use it. 


Upon deactivation, all the features and functionality that were added to the application upon plugin activation are removed. However, the application retains all the data pertaining to the plugin till the end of your current billing cycle. At the start of the next billing cycle, this data is purged from the application.


You can always choose to reactivate the Stock Counting Plugin without incurring any additional charges, during its subscription cycle.


There will be no change in your subscription amount in the current billing cycle if you are only deactivating the Stock Counting Plugin AND not updating your store / POS count.
