We will cover the steps to deactivate the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin.



Introduction

The Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin allows you to integrate your Tagrain Store with Pointy from Google. Pointy connects with Tagrain, and allows you to upload your products to the Pointy’s Virtual Store just by scanning the product barcode. Once your product is uploaded, the Pointy Page will start displaying your product information allowing your product to appear in the search results when a customer is searching for the product online on Google using relevant keywords.  


If for some reason, you no longer require the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin, Tagrain makes it simple by allowing you to deactivate the Plugin.

Pointy is currently available in a select number of territories: the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, and Australia. 



Steps to deactivate the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin

You can deactivate the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin from the Plugins screen by navigating to Home > Plugins. or from the Manage Accounts section when upgrading your Tagrain account.


From the Plugins Screen

Step 1. Navigate to Home > Plugins. This will open the Plugins Grid View Screen


Step 2. Navigate to the “Active” section on the Plugins Grid View Screen. This section will display all the plugins that are currently active. You should see the “Tagrain Pointy Integration” Plugin. Click on the Deactivate button.



Step 3. Click on the  Review & Checkout button to deactivate the Plugin.



Once the plugin is deactivated, all the features and functionality added to the application due to plugin activation, are removed. However, you can always choose to reactivate the plugin without incurring any additional charges, during its subscription cycle.


From the Manage Account Section

Step 1. Navigate to the admin section on the top right corner of the screen and click on Manage Account


Step 2. On the Subscription screen that opens, click the Upgrade button to reach the Purchase Subscription page.



Step 3. You should see the “Tagrain Pointy Integration'' Plugin on the Purchase Subscription page, under the Already Active section. You simply need to un-tick the check box on the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin Tile to mark the plugin as inactive




Step 4. Review your order summary and click on the Confirm & Pay button in the Cart Detail section to proceed with deactivation.


Consequences of Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin Deactivation

The information you have specified on the Store screen will no longer be utilized by the Pointy's back-end team to manage your product visibility. That means that your Product will no longer appear on your Pointy page thereby affecting your sales.


Upon Tagrain Pointy Plugin activation you specified the Store Address, Store Phone Number, and its opening and closing hours to make it easier for your customers to see what you are selling before they actually visit your Store. All this information is removed from the Pointy's Virtual Store.


That means that your Product will no longer appear on your Pointy page thereby affecting your sales.


By deactivating the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin, you end up losing all the feature benefits that you get on plugin activation. See: Features of the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin 



Subscription fee for Tagrain and its plugins is non-refundable. A plugin once purchased and activated shall not be refunded. You may however choose to deactivate the plugin if you no longer want to use it. 


Upon deactivation, all the features and functionality that were added to the application upon plugin activation are removed. However, the application retains all the data pertaining to the plugin till the end of your current billing cycle. At the start of the next billing cycle, this data is purged from the application.


You can always choose to reactivate the Plugin without incurring any additional charges, during its subscription cycle.


The subscription amount of the plugin is neither refunded nor adjusted in the current billing cycle. The change would reflect in the subsequent billing cycle.



There will be no change in your current subscription amount if you are only deactivating the Tagrain Pointy Integration Plugin AND not updating your store / POS count.
