To perform any sale or sale related activity a cashier frequently needs to visit the Web Register. It is very important for him to learn and be familiar with the daily processes around selling either using the Tagrain Web application or Tagrain App for Android or Tagrain App for iPad. At times the cashier may be required to put a sale on hold (suspend) or even void a sale. In this section we are going to talk about how a cashier void, suspend, and recall a sale in Tagrain.
Void a sale
Open the Web Register, navigate to: Home > Web Register > POS. Click on the “Cancel” tile. On the confirmation dialog box click “Yes” to void the sale and “No” to return to the POS Transaction screen.
Note: A sale transaction once cancelled becomes void and cannot be recalled. A void transaction will not reflect under “Recent Sales”.
Suspend a sale
Open the Web Register, navigate to: Home > Web Register > POS. Click on the “Suspend” tile. On the confirmation dialog box click “Yes” to suspend the sale and return to the POS Transaction screen.
Note: A sale transaction once suspended does not become void and can be recalled from under the “Recent Sale” tile.
Recall a sale
Open the Web Register, navigate to: Home > Web Register > POS. Click on the “Recent Sales” tile. This will bring up the “Recent Sales” screen. Pull up the sale transaction that you wish to recall. To further narrow down the search, you may use filters like Transaction Id, Date Range, Include All POS and Show Suspend Only. Click on the […] against the transaction (collapsed) and click “Recall”.
Note: A sale transaction once recalled appears on the POS Transaction screen for the cashier to complete the transaction.
