Introduction

Tagrain can integrate either to a new Xero site or an existing Xero site via the “Tagrain Xero Integration” plugin. This software module seamlessly integrates Tagrain with Xero. It allows retailers to further extend the capabilities of their TAGRAIN edition.  It allows them to post their sales, sale refunds, payments, cash ins, cash outs, floating expenses, and till variance from Tagrain to Xero. This helps them ease their accounting procedures and reduce the need for double-data-entry. In case they don’t have an existing Xero site, you can create one. See: How to create a Xero account? 

Prerequisites

• The retailer needs to be on Tagrain’s Paid Edition.

• The retailer needs to have an account on the Xero Portal. 

The retailer needs to register himself on the Xero Portal to generate his Xero credentials. Once generated, he needs to log into his Xero Developer Portal using those credentials. The credentials generally would comprise of his complete email address and password. The retailer needs to fill in the required information on the “Add a New App” screen to create one. Upon successful creation of the App, the retailer is presented with the Client Identifier and the Client Secret on the “App Creation” screen. This information would be required at the time of integrating Tagrain with Xero.   

There are no dependent Tagrain plugins which are required to be activated before activating the Tagrain Xero integration plugin.

How to activate the Tagrain Xero plugin?

The “Tagrain Xero Integration” plugin can be activated by clicking on the “Activate” button on the “Tagrain Xero Integration” plugin tile. The application allows you to review your selection. Once you have reviewed your selection you can checkout and make the payment. Upon successful payment the plugin is activated.

Note: A plugin once purchased and activated shall not be refunded. You may however choose to deactivate the plugin if you no longer wish to use it. A deactivated plugin will be available till the end of your current subscription cycle. During this subscription cycle you can always reactivate the Plugin without additional charges.
