Tagrain Xero Integration Plugin is a software module that seamlessly integrates Tagrain with Xero and allows retailers to further extend the capabilities of their TAGRAIN edition. It allows them to post their sales, sale refunds, payments, cash ins, cash outs, floating expenses, and till variance from Tagrain to Xero. This helps them ease their accounting procedures and reduce the need for double-data-entry.
Master data and transactional data is exchanged between Xero and Tagrain upon successful integration.
The data that is integrated between the two systems - Tagrain and Xero, will fall under one of the seven categories or integration touch points depicted in the table below:
A Customer is defined as an individual who purchases goods or services for his or her own consumption, in exchange for money, from Xero or Tagrain stores. All the customer-relevant data integrates from Xero to Tagrain and Tagrain to Xero. This data includes
customer’s name
customer’s email address
customer’s phone number
customer’s address
customer's subscription payment information
It will also include information pertaining to adding a new customer, editing an existing customer, deleting a customer. This exchange of data is bidirectional.
A Product is defined as an item that is sold in your Tagrain Retail Store. Items sold online or via any other channel will also fall under this category. All the product relevant data integrates from Xero to Tagrain AND Tagrain to Xero. This data includes
Product’s name
Product’s description
Product’s base price
It will also include information pertaining to adding a product, updating a product, deleting a product. This exchange of data is bidirectional.
All the relevant sale transaction data integrates from Tagrain to Xero. Whenever a customer buys a product in Tagrain using any of its active sale channels, a corresponding sale invoice is generated in Xero.
Quite a few transactions in Tagrain will be done for ‘walk in’ customers. These are those customers who are NOT registered as a customer in Tagrain. Sales and Refund transactions for these customers will integrate into Xero in the customer name defined under the setting "Default Xero Cash Customer". This customer is defined in Xero.
This process of Sales Transaction integration is dependent on product and customer processes. This exchange of data is unidirectional. This means that the sales and refund transactions will only integrate from Tagrain to Xero.
All refund transactions integrate from Tagrain to Xero. For every refund done in Tagrain, a corresponding Credit Note is generated in Xero. This process is dependent on the product, customer, and sale transaction processes. This exchange of data is unidirectional.
Cash movement can be defined as the amount of cash coming in and going out from the Tagrain cash register. All the relevant cash transactions data integrates from Tagrain to Xero. All the cash transactions performed in Tagrain reflect in Xero. This exchange of data is unidirectional.
