BIR Monthly Report is specific to the BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) POS Sytem in the Philippines.
BIR Monthly Report is used for reviewing and monitoring the sale transactions done on a particular month and for a specified store.

Please Note - The last column in the BIR Monthly Report is the Actions column. This column displays an eye symbol. You can click on this eye symbol to generate the Z Reading Report for that date.
Prerequisite
On the Global Settings page, toggle the switch Enable BIR to ON.
Steps to generate the BIR Monthly Report
To generate the BIR Daily Report, navigate to Home > Reports > BIR Monthly Report, and perform the following steps:
Select a POS
Select a Date Range (Month) for which the report is to be generated
Click on the Search Button
Once the report is generated, the columns can then be filtered in ascending / descending order.

The BIR Monthly Report is displayed in a grid format. Every row in the grid represents an EOD report (Z Reading). Each column in the grid represents the different values of the EOD report. See: Z Reading
Report Data
The BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) Monthly report contains the following information:
Column Name | Description |
Date | Displays the date |
Start Number | Displays the start number of the 1st transaction that was conducted on the POS terminal at day start. |
End Number | Displays the end number of the 1st transaction that was conducted on the POS terminal at day start. |
Starting Sales | Displays the starting sales amount. The starting sales amount will always be 0 (when the register is opened for the 1st time). The Starting Sales amount is the End Sales amount of the previous day. This means that when a register is closed, the End Sales amount becomes the Starting Sales amount for the next day. |
End Sales | Displays the day end sales amount. |
Daily Sales | Displays the total amount of sales made. |
Senior Citizen Discount | Displays the total amount offered as a discount to a Senior Citizen (SC) |
Disability Discount | Displays the total amount offered as a discount to a Person With Disability (PWD) |
Regular Discount | Displays the total amount offered as a discount to a regular customer. This does not include discount offered to Senior Citizens customers and Person With Disability customers |
Zero Rate Sales | Displays the sales of all products that do not attract any tax |
VAT Exempt Sales | Displays the total VAT Exempt amount. |
VAT Amount | Displays the total VAT amount. |
Sales Count | Displays the total count of sale transactions performed on that date. |
Refund Count | Displays the total count of refund transactions performed on that date. |
Number of Products | Displays the total number of products included in that sale transaction/refund transaction |
Total Quantity | Displays the total quantity of products sold in a sale transaction. In case of a refund it displays the quantity as 0. |
Actions | Displays the eye symbol. Clicking on the symbol generates the Z Reading Report for that date. |
Export the BIR Monthly Report
BIR Monthly Report can be exported using the Export button. Click on the Export button and navigate to the location where you intend to save the BIR Monthly Report. Click on the Save button to save the file.

IMPORTANT
When exporting the Transaction report, the date is always exported in MM/DD/YYYY format irrespective of the date format specified in Display Settings (Home > Setup > General Settings > Display Settings) OR the date time format of the Operating System OR Excel.

Print the BIR Monthly Report
BIR Monthly Report can be printed using the Print button. Click the Print button to open the Print Preview page where you can specify the print options like the destination printer, number of copies and pages to be printed etc. Click on the Print button to print the BIR Monthly Report.
