Exporting Sales Report in Tagrain

Overview

To generate a snapshot of the sale made, when managing the Tagrain application, you can make use of the excel based export template. This allows you to review and monitor the sales made for the specified date range, a Store / POS. The summary can be shown based on Product / Product Group / Customer / Customer Group or Cashier. This feature is useful for managers and administrators who are responsible for application management.
 

Steps to Export Sales Report in Tagrain

The steps to export the Sales Report using the excel template are listed below:

  • Open the Tagrain Web application. Navigate to: Home > Reports > Sales Report.

  • Select a Store by clicking on the […] button.

  • Select a POS by clicking on the […] button.

  • Specify the date range by clicking on the Calendar icon. 

  • Click on the “Sales By” drop-down to pick a filter.

  • Select a Business Partner Type from the drop-down. The available values are: Customer and Vendor

  • Select a Customer or a Vendor by clicking on the […] button.

  • Click on the “Export” symbol on the Sales Report Master Screen. This will download the entire Sales Report Master Data into an Excel sheet. This downloaded data can be further utilized for further analysis purposes.

  • The template helps you validate the values and information therein.

  • The table below shows the Sales Report.xls file headers that are available to manage the sale Data.


Field

Description/Activity

Store

This field displays the name of the store where the sale transaction occurred.

POS

This field displays the name of the POS where the sale transaction was made.

Product

This field displays the name of the product sold.  

Discount

This field displays the discount offered on the sale. The discount can be offered as an amount or as a percentage.

Total Before Tax

This field displays the sale amount before tax.

Total After Tax

This field displays the sale amount after tax.
