Clover Connect Payment Processor Integration Plugin is a software module that seamlessly integrates with Tagrain POS system and allows you to offer a quick, seamless and secure payment experience to your customers.
Upon successful integration, cashiers can take credit and debit card payments from customers at the POS. This integration helps your cashier save the hassle of manually entering the amount and card details at the POS.
In this article, we will focus on baseless refund using Clover Connect as the Payment Type.
When a customer walks into one of your Tagrain Stores and asks for a refund, you can run into a situation where he doesn’t have the original transaction receipt with him. The refund that you process in this situation is called a baseless refund.
The only prerequisite to perform a baseless refund using Clover Connect is to add Clover Connect as a payment type in Tagrain.
Scan the products to be refunded and click the Pay button.
On the Payment Screen, click the Cards button, to refund the credit card payment.
Please Note: Any payment made via the Clover Connect will be returned to the Clover Connect account.
In case of a Refund, the customer is not required to either tap, insert or swipe the card to approve the refund.
Once the refund has been processed, the cashier will have to select one of the three options.
Print Customer and Merchant Copy
Only print Customer Copy
Don’t print anything on the payment device
Depending upon the selection made, a credit card refund receipt is printed on the Clover Connect device.
Please Note: This receipt is in addition to the standard transaction receipt that is printed from Tagrain POS.
Click OK to complete the refund. Upon successful refund a transaction receipt is generated which can be printed.
