The Loyalty Program in Tagrain is easy to implement and allows you to reward your regular customers with loyalty points for every dollar spent.
Loyalty Points are used as a type of payment in sales and refund transactions. Depending on the customer's preference, they can either be redeemed partially or in full.
Loyalty points can only be redeemed by registered customers on the Web Register.
On the Web Register select a customer from the customer search bar and select a few items in the transaction grid and click Pay to open the payment screen.
The payment screen displays the balance of the loyalty points of the customer. It also displays the balance of store credit and on-account balance of the customer.
Tagrain allows the customer to redeem his loyalty points either partially or in full. Edit the "Amount To Pay" field and specify the amount that the customer wants to pay via his accumulated loyalty points. The balance payment can be taken using any of the other payment types available.
Here, in this example customer "Glenn Berray" had 253.81 as accumulated loyalty points. He made some purchases which amounted to SGD219. He redeemed his 200 accumulated loyalty points and paid the remaining amount of SGD19 as cash.
Once the transaction is complete you may select Glenn Berray from the customer search bar and check his loyalty points balance by clicking the symbol.
Note: The payment screen will also display the balance of the loyalty points available with Glenn Berray, the next time he makes some purchases at the store.
